Since this weekend is Mother's Day I thought I would post a picture of my mom and I. I was probably only a month or so old in that picture. My mom is so amazing. And she is making an even better Grandma to my baby. She helps me out a lot since Pat works so much and I am so grateful to have her down here. I don't know what I would have done if she was still in New York.
It is crazy to think that I get to celebrate Mother's Day this year. It still hits me sometimes that I am a mom. I am so afraid that I am going to mess up raising Savannah. It's hard work being a mommy. Pat and I turned out pretty good so I think we'll do just fine! I hope she listens to her parents, isn't a brat, respects her elders, eats her fruits and veggies and just loves us with all her heart.
Right now I call her my crabby patty. She has been worse than normal with her fussiness and crying. I took her to the Dr. today because she's been pulling at her ear. She is 12 and a half pounds already. Her ear looked good and she isn't teething so the Dr. put her on Prevacid and we are going to give it a week and see if that helps her. I hope it does. I hate seeing my baby scream in pain and there is nothing I can do for her. When I get super stressed out about things Pat reminds me that it will only get better from here. I know it will but I need to be told that every once in a while.
I hope all you momma's out there have an amazing Mother's Day. I hope the weather is perfect, you get lots of goodies from your loved ones and you can sit on the couch and drink wine all day!
