So all month of November I'm going to try and update my blog every day about what I'm thankful for. I never use my blog anymore just because I've had a lot happen to me these past couple months and didn't want to complain all the time or put something I'd regret later on.
Day 1: I'm thankful for my daughter. She's my whole world. I've watched her grow into a rambunctious toddler these last 20 months. It was great staying at home with her for so long. She's getting so smart and picks up on things so easily. She cracks herself up, along with everybody else all the time. She's an great eater. She's good natured, happy, and demanding. I'm so glad I have such an amazing little girl!

2 Pounds down!...
I have lost 2 pounds so far! I know it's not a lot but it's better than nothing and I am eating way better. So even if I didn't loose weight I would be proud with myself. Being on weight watchers isn't as hard as I first thought it was going to be. It has gotten way easier and I'm so glad I'm trying it out. Week 1 seemed like it took forever but now I know what I'm doing with the points system so it should pick up! Lol. I have a ton more weight to loose but I know I have to do something more than just watching what I eat. So now I have to get on that one! Wish me luck :-)

Weight lose diary...
The next couple of months I am going to use my blog to track my weight lose. Hopefully I will have some success at it! I decided to join Weight Watchers after talking to a friend and she told me that she had lost weight after only two weeks of being on the program. I really want to loose 20-25 pounds and figured since she was doing it, she could help me through it. I love that I can eat what I want and can (hopefully) loose weight while doing it!
DAY 1:
Tuesday was my first day on the program. I'm allowed 26 points every day. I ate 1/2 banana bread that morning. That thing was 3 points!!! It would have been 6 if I would have ate it all. It's crazy seeing food you ate all the time and realizing you could eat all your points in one sitting. I got a salad for lunch with Italian dressing. Horrible salad. It tasted dirty so I barely ate it. For snack I found that I could have salsa (0 points) and tostitos (4 points for 7 of the restaurant style). I was very happy about this! I love chips and salsa and it's not many points! I finished the evening with a veggie dog, sweet potato fries and a Popsicle. Can you believe I still had 7 points left!!! I could have had a beer :-)
DAY 2:
I'm getting better with the whole point system. I didn't eat breakfast this morning. Lunch was a pb sandwich and grapes. For dinner I had a veggie burger with cheese and without a bun, and chips and salsa. I also got an unsweetened tea at sonic in the afternoon since its 0 points. After I went grocery shopping, I was craving something sweet so I had a scoop of ice cream I had bought before I joined WW. It was 5 points but I still finished the day with 3 left so I was good to go.
I finally went shopping and got a ton of fruits and veggies so now it will be a little easier. They are 0 points so I shouldn't have a problem with staying under every day. Let me know if you have any advice. Thanks! :-)

Besties....
I have been in NY since Thursday with Savannah and we've had a great time so far. One of the best parts has been the friendship between Savannah and Gracie (her momma is my bestie). They have been having so much fun running around and playing with each other! Both Savannah and I are going to miss them so much when we leave. But for now we are just going to enjoy the time we have together!

I miss sleep...
Savannah sleeps like crap anymore. She is usually up at least once a night and it's a struggle to get her back to sleep. She used to go right back to sleep if I brought her to bed with us but that isn't the case anymore. She cries as soon as I lay down with her. But she's fine if I sit on the couch with her. We usually end up sleeping on the couch all night and that's a crappy sleep for me. It all started with Savannah's ear infection at the beginning of May. She's been back and put on different medicine and I was thinking it was better but with her not sleeping still, maybe another trip to the dr would solve this problem. We don't have insurance right now so it's at least $100 every time we go and I was just hoping this last time she'd be good until we got insurance in September. Pat switched jobs in March so we have to wait 6 months to get any. It just all around sucks. I really want her to sleep through the night before we head to NY!!!!

You know you're a parent when...
It's 10pm on a Saturday night and you're at home cuddled up in a blanket watching a movie. That's how most of my nights are anymore. I wouldn't trade it for the world but sometimes I think back to hanging out with friends all hours of the night having one too many beers and going to Waffle House at 2 in the morning.
Pat, Savannah and I went to a pool party today. It was a lot of fun. Savannah was very well behaved. We were in the pool for about 4 hours and she was loving it. I have no idea how we were in there for that long! The time kind of passed us by. It sucks because most people we hang out with don't have kids. And the ones that do live so stinking far away! I swear we always find friends at least an hour away. Luckily my child loves basically anyone that pays attention to her! Or feeds her any kind of junk food. She remembers them. It's kind of Funny. I am rambling and going nowhere right now! Well I guess I'm trying to say is that the pool was great on a nice, sunny day, the food was delicious right off the grill, and Pat and I make a pretty awesome child! :-)
Oh and I am looking for a swimsuit that floats for the kiddo. Anyone know where I can pick one up? Savannah thinks she can swim at times and likes to let go when I'm holding her. I need to get one soon. She doesn't get it after we went to the beach and she was able to go in by herself! She's little miss independent!

Diaper rash cream is the devil...
Savannah has a horrible diaper rash right now! It's her first one ever let me add. The antibiotics shes on is doing it to her. The poor girl was hurting so bad yesterday evening so I busted out some cream a friend of mind blended for me. She works in a pharmacy so she knows little secrets! I stirred it up and put it on the couch. I had everything ready for the baby once she got out of the bath. Well I went to take her diaper off and she grabbed the container of cream. It would have been fine except I didn't put the lid on right so it went everywhere!!!!! Her outfit she was wearing is absolutely ruined. Bella, Savannah, the couch and I still smell like it too. I can't get it out of the cushion. I scrubbed until the couch fabric started getting weird. I ironed it and that didn't help at all. I am going to try a few other things and lets hope that something works! Luckily, our furniture is getting old. So we wouldn't mind getting new furniture! Lol.
On a better note, we will be heading up to NY on the 20th of this month. Savannah and I are driving up with my mom. Plane tickets have been outrageous and we haven't found any good deals. I hope Savannah is well behaved on the trip. I need some ideas on keeping a 16 month old entertained in a carseat! I am staying positive :-)

Happy Mother's Day!!!...a little late
I hope all you awesome moms out there had a great weekend and your kiddos were perfect...haha. If only they could be just one day put of the year. I had a fantastic weekend with my family! I got some pretty cool things too. My mom bought me a photo book with all of my posts on my blog for the first year of Savannah's life. It was very thoughtful and pretty awesome (thanks Flee for making it!!!) I also got some kinect dance games so maybe I can get back into shape.
Saturday, we went to my uncles and he cooked on the grill. He did beef and chicken kabobs, fruit and veggie kabobs and hearts of romaine (my fav grill item). We brought pasta salad, my mom brought deviled eggs and my little sis made cupcakes. Savannah played in the water and all in all it was a good day.
Sunday, just Pat, Savannah and I spent the day together. We did a little shopping and ate pizza. It was nice and relaxing and I couldn't have asked for more!
Here are a couple pictures from Saturday.
Maybe I'll start updating this thing more often. I never realized how awesome it will be for Savannah to be able to look back and see all the things we did!
Happy Hump Day! :-)

We're back!!!
Well we are back from the cruise. We have left Florida and will get home this evening. I can't wait for this car ride to be over. I hope Savannah survives. Lol.
The cruise was amazing. We ate, ate and ate. Did I mention we ate?! Lol the food was pretty good and they always had vegetarian options at dinner. The ports were awesome. St Thomas was my favorite. We went to Meagens bay and it was beautiful. I have a ton of pictures but they are not on my phone. I'll be adding them all to my Facebook at some point this week. I could go on and on about all the things we did. Shows, food, sun and relaxing sums it up though.
Savannah's first birthday was pretty great. We got a huge cupcake from a place in the ship and had a little celebration where we all sang to her and ate cake. It was delicious. She got a dog that has a zipper and buttons from aunt Debbie and uncle Scott and a puppet book from aunt Ida and Abigail.
Before we left on the cruise, Felicia had some of her friends over abs she bought Savannah the cutest cake. Her aunt fe and uncle John got her a fish tank and all the accessories She also got a doll, an outfit and a stuffed dog. She was spoiled. Oh and she got books, a popper, sandals a hat and sunglasses from her grandma deb and great grandma and great grandpa.
Now I have to get ready for Savannah's birthday party on Saturday. I've got owls to sew, banners to make and decorations to buy. I'm going to be busy!!!!! Hope you all have an amazing week! Wish me luck on getting all this stuff done in time :-)

So much to do...
We leave for Florida Wednesday and Pat and I still have so much to do!!! He's busy at work and his side business and I have Tupperware things going on, cleaning and packing. Plus I have to get all the stuff we need for the trip to Florida and for the cruise. I'm kind of freaking out. I wanted to have everything done by tomorrow night and I do not see this happening anymore. I have absolutely no idea what the heck you need for a cruise but I don't want to overpack with 4 people staying in a 154sq ft room for 7 days. I think I'll calm down once we all get on the ship but right now I'm kind of freaking out. Yet I'm sitting on the couch snuggling with Savannah. I'm about to put her down but she's so comfy. I best get moving!!!

Super bowl...
I don't watch football so I could care less who wins but for the super bowl I always pick a team. I picked the Giants and they won. We went to my cousins house for a party and it was a lot of fun. We've been so busy with packing And laundry so it was nice to just hang out. Savannah is getting to the age where she wants to be with the other kids. It is adorable. She had a blast tonight. She is understanding the whole walking process better abs instead of falling down all the time when she gets off balance she'll fix it and keep going. This morning she practically ran to her toys. It was awesome. Back to the party though.... Lol. We got to see lots of people. Eat yummy food, Nick made his famous chili bit it wasn't for me since he doesn't love us vegetarians. Hehe. He apologized for not making me some. And Savannah got to play with all the other kids. Now back to getting ready for Florida!!!
Oh and she LOVED that kitchen!!!! She was in heaven.

My crazy girl...
This is Savannah's new favorite thing to do. She walks around with a little people in her mouth almost all day long. It's really weird. She seems to use it like a paci. Pat told me that I need to stop her from doing it. Does this mean take all her little people away? They are her favorite. I'm sure she will stop doing it soon. She tends to change habits every few weeks do we'll see. You see the ball pit in the background? That's her favorite place to go. She will take a book or toy in there and just sit. Today she stood up and realized there was a hole on the top so she had to look out from it. She's starting to climb. It makes me very nervous!

Busy, Busy, Busy...
I am not very good at keeping this blog up to date anymore. It's been two months since I last posted! Ooops! Savannah keeps me so busy these days. I am also taking a class to better myself in the Tupperware business so that means I go to two meetings a week right now.
Of course Savannah does some new things. She takes steps here and there, she dances to everything that sounds like music, she eats whatever she can find (food or not), and she can say some words. She says mom, dad, yes, no, hi, bye, dog, and bad dog. lol. She just learned that one when we were in NY. It was only said a few times and she picked it right up...I sure am in trouble with my potty mouth. She has 6 teeth too!
I am in full planning mode right now getting ready for her birthday party. We go on a cruise right before Savannah's birthday and I'll only have a few days when we return to get everything finished. So I need to get as much done as possible by the 8th of February. I started making the stuffed owls for the party favors this weekend. My grandma came over and helped cut everything out. I could have gotten a few done but my sewing machine was not being my friend and I spent a couple hours getting the bobbin from bunching up. Grrr!!! I so need a new machine. I love to sew but with having a bottom of the line Singer, it makes things hard. I found the perfect one and am hoping for Valentine's Day and my birthday I could get it! Just a little early, like this weekend so I can get my sew on. hehe. They are on hold and now I need to get the invites done so I can get them ready to go in the mail. Hopefully everything will come together in the end.
We went to NY for a week and got back last Tuesday. It was a lot of fun. Savannah saw snow but I didn't get any pictures. I wanted to but it was just sooooo cold I didn't want to be out in it any longer than I needed to be. She hated getting her hat and winter coat on every time we went outside. She had so much fun with her Grand daddy Milo, Grandma Laura, Uncle Buddy and Aunt Maddy though. She got to see some Aunts, Uncles and cousins too! And we can't forget about her bestie, Gracie!!!
Here are a few pictures of Savannah from the last few weeks. Let's see if I can actually post again before her first birthday.
I hope everyone has a great week and maybe I wont be such a stranger!
